Design Intent

The goal for this family was to transform the ground floor of this charming 1930s home into a multifunctional living space. It needed to accommodate children’s play areas while providing an inviting setting for adults to relax, enjoy good wine, and engage in conversation. Additionally, the challenge was to seamlessly integrate a hyper-modern kitchen into the historic interior without compromising its character.

The Transformation

The redesign offers a versatile living area where children can freely play without disturbing adult conversations or gatherings. The new colour scheme and carefully selected furniture unify the space, while the sleek kitchen integrates subtly yet confidently into the home’s historic fabric. This thoughtful balance creates a warm, functional, and stylish environment tailored to family life.
