There’s something magical about beginnings. Especially the kind you’ve quietly been dreaming of for years.

Today, I’m beyond excited to share that Studio Loure is live. A deeply personal dream has taken form — and this is just the beginning.

I’m Katharina, the founder of Studio Loure, an interior design studio rooted in warmth, connection, and timeless design. But more than that, I’m a dreamer, a designer, and someone who finds joy in translating people’s everyday rhythms into spaces that feel like home.

My path here didn’t follow a straight line. After graduating from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, I spent many years working in luxury retail and marketing. Back then, stores were still places of connection. You’d step inside and feel something spark — curiosity, inspiration, possibility. But over time, I noticed a shift. Retail spaces became sleeker, more efficient, and  also more anonymous. Meanwhile, our homes were slowly becoming the new center of our lives. They had to evolve into offices, playgrounds, sanctuaries.

That’s when I followed the thread I had been searching for all along: out of the store, into the home. I realized that what truly moves me, is helping people feel connected again — to their space, to each other, and most importantly, to themselves.

It has always been my dream to build a company rooted in that belief. And after the birth of my son last year, I knew it was time to finally take that leap.

STUDIO LOURE is a full-service interior design studio focused on timeless, soulful living environments for young couples, families, and empty nesters who want to turn their house into a warm and functional home.

Interior design, for me, is about balance, flow, and harmony. It’s about choosing textures, colors, and materials that speak to the senses. That feel good. That work for you — and with you.

My approach is intuitive, structured, and deeply human. I take the time to understand your lifestyle, your needs, and the subtle details that make your world yours. We embrace imagination. Because dreaming is the first step to building a space that feels truly aligned with who you are.

And so, here we are. A new chapter begins — one I hope you’ll be part of.
